Rock Pink Par-Tay ’14

Another birthday week of Ali’s has passed while we celebrate her here on Earth while she does whatever it is you do in Heaven on your

Earthly bday. She is 34 this year! So hard to believe this was the 3rd birthday without her. It was a jam packed weekend with her PF Changs

bday dinner, then the picnic in her memory and then her Goddaughter’s bday party.

I was feeling ok for most of the picnic because a sweet friend of mine slipped me a Zofran. Thank God because I was actually able to

socialize and not barf on people’s faces. However, I was still tired and didn’t feel like working so pictures weren’t so much a priority.

Doh. We had a great turnout this year, dare I say more than the last two years? It was great weather and lots of fun was had. While we setup

the party My Aunt Debbie and cousin, Jordan, entertained the children. 🙂

Carrie from Cakemoms generously donated delicious desserts again. Which were so popular they were gone by the time I has able to

grab one. Hmmph.

Sullivan is always there with a helping hand for our family any time we need her!

I wasn’t really thinking when I took this because you can’t see, but Nico insisted on wearing his green shorts to match Daddy. Adorable.

Grandma and I were spent by the end. And yes, she did take a drink of that Mountain Dew. Lol.

We really appreciate everyone who works so hard at keeping Ali’s legacy alive. I saw tons of great books donated that day as well as friends dropping them at my house. We are so thankful she is still so loved. It means more to us than you’ll ever know. We truly have a wonderful community of family and friends surrounding us here on the Westside. Xoxo. Happy 34th Auntie Ali! We miss and love you so!

Heart, Melanie.
