And on that farm he had a… Mama cow. E -I- E- I- O. But seriously, a cow was about my only option this year. And it’s mad comfortable
and warm, soooo winning!
Adam didn’t have a choice, he was obviously going to be the farmer.
I bought a Mens large white sweatsuit. Duct tape sheets for spots, because painting meant I couldn’t wear it again and hello, I’m cheap and
will totally be lounging in this for the rest of the pregnancy. I took baby bottle nipples, stuffed with felt. Cut a felt circle. Four more circles,
then added batting behind just to put some pressure on the teets to hold them in place. Tacked on udders. Added felt ears. That’s it. It’s a
real cowbell that my mother had, I’m not sure why, with a quick felt bow. Supa easy.
Nico wanted to be a sheep! I went to Once Upon a Child and got a size too big black hoodie. Bought the worst shedding ever fabric from
Hobby Lobby. Cut out a form. Sewed it to the hoodie, which took entirely too long with the fabric getting stuck over and over plus the
thickness of the hoodie. Yuck. A set of felt ears. Hand me down black pants from Nori. Insert cute kid.
Nori chose a pig which was way easy. I bought a Pig nose, ear and tail set from a Halloween store. A pink sweat suit online. Tacked on pink
felt belly, so she too can rewear it. Made a quick felt bow. Boom. Oh, and I hot glued felt on her nose because that thing is hard plastic and
hurts! She’s wearing Nico’s shoes, because they wear the same stinking size. You can’t see her tail with a cute little bow above it. Oink.
Nothing original or exciting this year. I’m tired. We’ve been going going going and I’ll admit it’s catching up to me. Crafting is way hard
since I can move or find a comfortable position. Speaking of twins. I had an Ultrasound Wednesday, the boys look great. Each about 2lbs
and each 14″!!! That’s a lot of stinking baby in me at only 26 weeks. Fluid is great and they say they’re perfect. All organs are “beautiful”
according to the tech as well. 🙂 Anywho. Happy Halloween!
