I started this project with Nori when she was one week old. After 3months of doing it for her, Adam says, “are you really going to do this every month?”
because he knew how much of a production it was for me to set up and break down the lights, get the space warm and prepped, do when the baby was
happy etc. I committed. After I shared her 1st year, everyone said, now you will have to do this for all of your kids! It’s pretty much the only consistent
thing I’ve done in the last 6 yrs as a parent. :0 I am sad to be done with these series, BUT what a sigh of relief, at the same time. So much work to do it all
start to finish. A lot of people have started doing monthly’s of their own kids now and without the lights or the second baby, y’all can attest to why I’m glad
the 36th and final shot is done on this backdrop! But let’s be real, each month involved a lot more than one snap!!
There is so much goodness in each frame. I love them all for different reasons. Ezra is always on the left.
From 5.10 to 22.5lbs. My smallest babies became my biggest one year olds! Amazing, isn’t? How thankful we are that my egg split. We are so
blessed to have these two in our lives.
My baby birds have officially become toddlers. Toddlers that are getting teeth and are keeping me up all night more than usual. I’m always fully awake
while one or both babies scream bloody murder from the hours of midnight till 730am. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Let me ask this.
In other’s people’s homes, do you just like, go to bed at 10 and then just wake up at 7am? Is that a thing? No one pees the bed, has nightmares,
cries all night? Nevermind, don’t tell me if that happens in real life.
Heart, Melanie.
