It was sunny and the temp was manageable BUT that wind was not! While they have a cute backyard, no chance we were keeping that fresh beeb outside! Thankfully they had great natural light in their MCM house!

I remember seeing the ukulele you got the baby, but I noticed when processing images that you have at least 4 guitars too! Y’all are going to have some epic family jam sessions in 10 yrs!! 😍

Most houses *might* have a single piece of original artwork hanging. With the exception of the nursery in progress, their house literally is wall to wall diverse paintings. I felt like I just needed to walk the space like a gallery to really get a look at each one of them! So authentic and eclectic!

I appreciate when I can grab lifestyle moments during sessions. The connections and teamwork goes unnoticed in the day to day bustle but pausing for a split second and seeing those relationships is so beautiful and important for Isla to see one day!

PS.  I was so stressed about the allergic reaction I was having to my plant flowering that day that I read up even more on it that night. Learned a whole bunch of crazy things but the next morning my voice came back and I no longer sounded like an 80yo emphysemic man. 🤣 Sorry again you had to deal with that! That was such a wild learning experience!
