Girls spend hoursssss prepping. Guys game until 3minutes before leaving. Seems fair.
Though Maxwell had a great blank canvas, his work was stunning.
Their invitations were burned into basal wood!!! Whaaaat.
Giddy like high schoolers. ๐

Rachel made all their lantern arrangements!
Had to use a pop of fall color!!
Dang, girl! ๐ณ
Getting every last bit of sun!
The STRANGEST and funniest thing happened while we were taking these. Some random dude was like 30yards from us watching. All the sudden he yelled, NO! YOU HAVE TO PULL THE VIEL BACK!! Confused, because we were? And also, excuse me?๐คฃ Adam looked over and said, Thanks! Then repeatedly he yelled the same thing more aggressively. Starting to get very uncomfortable as his tone deepened, we just smiled and nodded at him and started walking away. He literally huffed and puffed YELLING AT US that we HAD to do what he said. He continued to yell until he was out of our sight, easily a football field from him. Verbally assaulted by an under the influence, unstable man, was definitely a wedding day first. ๐ณ
Walking back to the shelter where they were to be married!
Once darkness had completely fallen, they started the processional.
We really tested the power of our cameras and stable hands. ๐คฃ
Itโs always the bride!๐
Shots with Mom!
๐ย Matthew tried so hard.
Though it became quite cold in the end, it was a perfect Fall day! I loved that you stepped outside the traditional wedding box in so many ways! Good for you guys for pulling it off so well. I was a bit nervous shooting in complete darkness with very little ambient light, but we embraced that romantic grain! Congratulations!! Heart, Melanie & Adam.
