Merry Christmas 2022!

With the Darkness theme we had for Halloween we may as well have kept it going! 🥰  Really, if you’ve ever seen the amazing pictures of emotionless Goth kids on Santa’s lap, that’s the humor we were channeling. Adam said it on a whim last week and I was 100% down for it.

Adam was REALLY worried about all the older (AhemmCatholic) people getting the card and having NO understanding why we’d dress this way at such a cheery time of year and the joke would totally be lost on them…so we were sure to add some color on the backside. And of course attach an image so they can stop praying for our young sons who they thought had pink and green hair. In fact, Adam was so stressed about it, we actually didn’t send it to a few people on our list. :-{

We also had to add smiles to ensure the people we do, in fact, have holiday cheer ourselves. 😉

Ironically, with the popularity of Wednesday Addams right now, Nori picked up her teenage vibe too. Though those are just my regular black fishnets I’ve had for 20yrs and the boots are just normal old shoes for me…the shirt and skirt I thrifted a handful of years ago for my Madonna outfit! Somehow my baby girl (who turned 13 this week *gasp*) can casually wear my things now. 😭

And some of you Westsiders probably didn’t even notice under that Santa beard was the smiley and most awesome, Patrick Niehaus!! I immediately knew to call him for this job as he’s dressed as Santa before during one of my sessions! Thanks Pat and to you Niehauses, I hope you’re dying laughing right now! I told him to keep it a secret because you actually receive the card and I wanted to see if you noticed first!!😍

Christmas came quicker than ever this year and here we are already closing out 2022. The fact we are parents of a teenager is already too much for my brain to process. How did we get here, so.stinkin.fasssst!!! 😭 Merry Christmas y’all! Heart, The Dark Pace Circus.

Thanks for stopping by!
