in case you didn’t see it on fb yet…

here are some of my families statuses since last night…

ben’s: We received amazing news today. The latest scan shows 40-50% tumor reduction! Plus, Ali is gaining weight again. Prayers are being answered!

mom’s: Can you hear all of us screaming? and see us on bended knee in thanks? Obv. chemo is working but we still need prayers to get her through all of it.

More tests in mid to late nov. Praise God and thank you all!!

mine: she told you once and she meant it, cancer. her body ain’t holdin’ no cancer party. take what’s left of you, and get the hell out of my sister.

brian’s: 40-50% off. That’s right, we’re liquidating this shit.

ali’s: suck it cancer. (ok, i just made that one up. she hasn’t posted yet but i’m sure when she does, it’ll be something like that 🙂 )

you pickin’ up what i’m layin down? THE CHEMO IS WORKING!! we still need all those thousands of daily prayers though because she has quite a ways

to go, but at least we know they are finally on the right path! THANK YOU JESUS. our prayers are working. keep it up.

the image above is during her round 2 of chemo. they were doing laps to give her exercise. adam is always doing something to lighten the mood and make her laugh.

some of you probably saw pics on fb him planking in her hospital room or ‘batman-ing’ in the hall of the her oncology unit. 🙂

we are all still in a state of shock. we knew it had to be working from how well she has been doing, but the news still hasn’t sunk in. i know my

immediate family has kind of built up this wall against our emotions. there have been so many ups and downs that it’s becoming hard to let ourselves feel

anything. if you’ve fought cancer with someone close to you, then you know exactly what i mean. but now we are so very hopeful and we know how

good God is, so remission is just around the corner now. yes! yes! yes!! thank God she didn’t give up when the trial was over. i’m glad she had enough faith

to trust her oncologist here when he wanted to try chemo again, as much as she did not want to. the dr called this chemo treatment a “hail mary” and just like the

nurses said, if anyone can pull it off, this dr can. keep fighting the fight ali! you continue to inspire us all.

round 3 starts next week.

Thanks for stopping by!
