I have to say it again and you’ve all heard it a thousand times…I’m simply staring at a pretty Matt with long hair! In fact, I sent this image to my sister and said, name her family and in under 5 seconds a reply ‘without a doubt, a Hofmeyer.’ Bahahhaah. It’s a compliment, Madi! You have great genes! It’s like your Mom’s beauty coming through your Dad’s face. It’s seriously wild.

Rain was more than on the horizon and even taking the extra two minutes to get shoes on was wasted time so she suggested she stay barefoot, which work fine tillllll she had to walk on gravel. OUCH.

I know you’re already in school right now because my baby is there with you today! GAH. In the last summer I’ve heard it more times than I can count, my next 4 yrs will zip by faster than any have so far. Hang on tight, sis, you’ll be in your cap n gown by next week!! Have a wonderful year!
