The grass was really muddy so we had to make one spot in front of an evergreen on the concrete work so the girls didn’t sink into the yards!

Looks like things got a little weird during his one on ones. But I’m here for it.

Y’all. I was a bit anxious about no first look and saving wedding party and B&G portraits for after in the pitch black. To say I was banking on the ambiance of Piatt Park lights was an understatement. 😆 So glad they were turned on for you guys!!

Multiple weddings a year I get warned from brides that their fiancé loathes pictures and we have our work cut out. Then there’s Johnny.  I love you for this.

“Umm excuse me, what?” In reference to her sisters stating they were going to take us through a history of the guys in her life.

But they spun it to make us thinking they were going to roast her, to actually talking about celebrity crushes and the like, not real previous relationships. Well played, ladies. It was cute.

Their non verbal communication makes me smile and it’s even more funny looking at this because I didn’t even notice he didn’t to flip open the keylid. 😆 You almost convinced us you were really serenading your hot wife!!! I’ve been seeing this trend online but this was the first time in person I’ve seen a live painting during the reception. He shot them on his cell during their first dance then worked off his phone during the whole reception.

Congrats to the Newlyweds!!

Though I was a bit disappointed the snow didn’t stick around for the wedding day, I was certainly ok with 60º temps instead! Everything went so well! We’ve turned down New Years weddings since it became the twins birthday 8 yrs ago, but I knew this one would be fun enough to make it worth it! 😍 Thanks for having us! Congrats and it looks like the honeymoon was wonderful! Heart, Melanie
