Hannah.

Funny story. 😑 Hannah was scheduled for a Tuesday and it was forecasting rain all day. My Sunday client had to postpone so I thought, perfect, I’ll move Hannah into her slot and not stress with a rain out! Sunday was fine but progressively became gray, but I can manage gray! We go all the way to the east side with 0% chance and whaddya know, 20min in the drizzle starts. Then the heavier rain. Hannah, continues to shrug it off, “I’m fine with the rain!” UGHHHHH.

Gorgeous. I told her straight away, about 1% of the population can successfully wear that outfit in this decade. You’re adorable!

I knew those fun bell bottoms would make a cool silhouette not to mention her perfect paper doll figure! Thankful for the wind!

She defaulted to her (stunning) resting face but I had to pull out that pretty smile every once in awhile too!

The electricity in the air was really affecting her hair plus the wind and rain picking up had us quickly heading back to the car to make the call.

So we decided to postpone to whenever I could finish her session. *stress*  And guess what happened. It did rain Tuesday day annnnd then the evening was cloudy BUT dry. We could have just left her whole session for that day. That’s what I get for being proactive. 🤣 I asked her if she could meet me in an hr and the totally chill gal she is, “sure!”

The overcast worked great with the flowers because when there’s hard light, I can’t often shoot from a lot of angles.

You’re so dang cute! I love your free spirit!

🔥🔥🔥

Just having a solo dance party. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The sun! The sun came out to play! 🙌🏼 It was so exciting to see her hair light up!

This confidence is what I live for as a photographer. 😍

YES.

After these shots when her hair was nearly white in the light I told her she had Khaleesi vibes from Game of Thrones! This lil beeb didn’t know who that was! 😭 Put some crazy braids in that long light hair and be her for halloween! 👌🏻

We had already gotten in our cars and about to leave when I remembered I forgot to do her Photo Booth! You better believe I made her get back out. 😆 That lower right image of one crossed and one not, thats hella impressive!!🤣

Sorry that we had to break your session up!😩 I can’t even remember ever having to do that before! I’m thankful you’re such a good sport, just the type of client needed in that spontaneous rain scenario! Keep that attitude the rest of your life and you’ll be set!! Good luck this year!!

Heart, Melanie
