Merry Christmas 2020!

Merry Christmas, interwebssss!

I know right?😭 So much denim on denim on denim!  Many asked about the ensemble and truth be told, we had all we needed but a few tops. A quick trip to Salvation Army got us what we needed, which brings me to Adam’s biggest concern…people would take us seriously!😳 I said to the grandma checking me out, we are having a matching denim Christmas this year! To which she replied, “What a great idea, you all will look wonderful!” 🥴I wish I could insert all the gifs here.  So please note, we are always joking in life and I think most of the people know us well enough by now to realize this. I hope. And if you like the look, cool cool.

We had a very small window to shoot before I had to go to a real session and then sports games. So to all of you who saw me with half wiped off make up and big crimped pulled back hair, nooooow you understand. 🤣 Also, it turns out its REALLY hard for my kids to not cuddle up and touch for pics. I was like, NO THEY DIDNT CONNECT back then!! Just stand in your own space and STOP MOVING! Every time they moved, the mullets got moved and you couldn’t see them! Also, we didn’t plan on seeing Nori’s feet and Adam wouldn’t let me run upstairs and grab her some neon socks. Sigh. 🙄 Fail. And it’s hilarious also how double exposures are coming back in style for weddings so here we are, but no, I will not photoshop dad in the background of your upcoming family portraits. That trend can keep its a** in the past!

The boys mullets are my old extensions to thicken my up do on my wedding day! They thought they were hilarious. While Adam and I were setting up the backdrop they just chilled there on the couch with their, spiked, parted and perm-mullet. Though I wish Nico’s natural curls were tighter, it still worked.  I just couldn’t stop laughing. For the life of me, I can’t understand why mullets are coming back in with all these boys. 🤣🤣

I was really trying to channel one of my aunts from the 80s/90s and I think I nailed it. She took the compliment.🤣

I hope all the mailed cards made it where they belonged. Some of you really got the dragon’s work in entirety. Their addressing, crooked stamps, multiple stampings of our return addy AND a non sealed envelope because they wet it so much the glue came off (but the open flap revealing Adam’s face in space was all that I could have wished for anyway). 🤣Here’s hoping 2021 is a lot less chaotic, heart breaking, sad and all around uncomfortable for all the reasons. Happy holidays, friends. I’m ready to sit around and yell at our kids while cuddled under the blankets while doing a whole lotta nothin! 😍 Heart, the denim Pace Circus.
