Mr & Mr {Jake and Zac}!

The weather shifted and we had unexpected rain that tried to dampen the whole day, but it was still a BEAUTIFUL event in Yellow Springs!!

They were timing out their spray and walk through. 🙂

These pretty moms worked SO HARD to pull off this spectacular wedding!! Not a detail was looked passed. I bet you guys slept so well into the next day. You did it!

Every surface in this large venue, every hallway, anywhere you could add fall decor and flowers, they did. Susan drove in a U-HAUL fulllll of decor!! I’m not shocked, it was over the top fabulous everywhere you looked. I’ve never seen so many different types of vendors and wedding planners setting up everywhere ALL day. It was all so stunning.

There had to be like 25 of these planter boxes around and the trees…couldn’t even begin to count!

Love this!! <3

The rain would slow long enough to get in a few shots, then pause under trees or umbrellas! Glad this crew wasn’t high maintenance, they were there for the fun, wet or not!

Dave Chapelle’s shop was right next to the hotel with this gorgeous ollld brick work!

Zac is very familiar with the town so he wanted to walk down the strip a bit. We made it about a football field before the rain, traffic and wetness was overwhelming!

How beautiful are those hands. I love that.

The day was emotional, as one would expect any wedding day to be but when you’ve spent a lot of your life assuming you’ll never have your happily ever after, supported and witnessed by your people.. It’s a LOT to take in!

Full bloomed fresh flowers all over the hotel spaces and the reception.  Absolutely gorgeous designs, one after the other.

Zac was saying he was accepting of both Jakes faults and his own. BAHAHA.

Love this out of focus shot from Adam. Feels like the beginning of your painting!

This sensitive guy’s eyes were dry about 5% of the day. The rest, it was over. :*)

Each parent came up and attached a physical symbol, of their choosing, to the yarn during their hand fasting ceremony. Each was a surprise to the men, all thoughtful, some sentimental, others funny.

Zac’s dad attached the mother board to his first computer which had everyone in absolute stitches.

Every table had a handmade vase by Zac’s mom, Marcia, to be taken home by guests. SO COOL!

Susan delivered a beautiful and emotional speech. How blessed you all are to have each other!

The got the party started in the BEST WAY ever possible. A drag show!!! Those queens.brought.it.

Brocolli Spears was so good she was getting tips on the spot!

The only crime here is lookin so hot and being so damn good at performing…

…and having the whole crowd screaming for more!!

How do we arrange for Drag to open up every reception??

Yaaaaaas.

Bit was ALL over that dance floor. Her dancing was hilariously unpredictable and her high energy brought all of us such joy.

Besides dinner, packed bags of to go meals, late night skyline, there was ice cream and cake at every seat…there was enough dessert for all of Yellow Springs.

Everyone was given boxes to load up and take home with sweets!!

A personal pie for every guest!!

Ms “don’t take my picture!” Debby Cassenelli. Sorry Deb, I’m the boss, I do what I want. :-*

Adam and I always watch these live painters with amazement. We both have Bachelor of Fine Arts and have taken many a painting classes…and FAT CHANCE we’d want a single person watching the progress. That pressure is insane. Well done!!

All these pretty girls breaaaaaking it down with Mama!!

Seeeesters. Love getting to see you all of you in one place! Also, Mom showed me your after party dancing. Well done on getting so low you couldn’t get back up. Bahhaaha.

I’m so thankful you have incredible support in your family and you guys were able to have the BEST day. You sure have a strong community of love surrounding you. With both you guys being in the mental health field, I can only imagine how many lives you are touching and changing every day as well. Keep being you, no matter how much this world tries to break you. Wishing you all the happiness you felt this day, every day, for the rest of your days! Heart, Melanie & Adam. <3
