Mr. & Mrs. Grayson!

Planned a year and a half out, this wedding seemed forevvvvver away!!! And now here we are, already gone and home in a blink. SIGH. We set sail to the Caribbean on April 1 aboard the Wonder of the Seas, the BIGGEST cruise ship in the world to celebrate Danny and Jill!

Super relaxed prep in their suite as Mom and Dad watched their only child transform into a bride!

They didn’t have an official wedding party but her close college friends were aboard and her hype crew!

To be fair, Danny did tell her to open his gift pre makeup…she did not. And she very much needed touching up after his sweet personal video played inside the box.

We hadn’t been on the ship a full 24hrs yet, so we very much did not know the decks and location of all the things. So coming from her 17th floor suite in aft of the ship, we thought we had to walk to the front. Soooo we walked the few football field lengths to establish, nope, we were above the hall to start. We then laughed and walked all the way back to where we came from. 🤣 WHOOPSIES.

Danny danced his way down the aisle. 😍

The Captain married them! In our pre ceremony consultation I joked, “So like, does Jesus just take the wheel for that half hour orrr?” He chuckled but the joke may have been lost in translation as he was Russian and maybe they don’t throw around that phrase like Americans.🤣

They were married in Music Hall, which overlooked the boardwalk. Those pinkish swirls behind them were dry slides you could ride down 10 decks!

Thanks Cap!

All the friends and family that joined us on this unique and wonderful adventure! I loved that so many people love and support them this much!

Dad said a few sweet words of how proud he was of his baby!

😍 These handsome fellas.

Central Park was in the middle of the ship and so well designed with restaurants and open air landscapes that you truly forgot you were in the middle of the ocean while walking through.

They were married in the room behind that glass and carousel.

Spun them around and were able to see the ship name!

You guys are adorable!

We made our way to an even lower deck to get that perfectly blue water!

We wandered the ship and landed in Wonderland, the restaurant designed after Alice and her adventures.

Always hyping them up!

Their reception was in the main dining room with about 4,000 of their closest friends, they’d never met. Our assigned tables were luckily right in the big open area in the center, bottom floor of 3 levels of balconies looking down on us!

The wedding planner did such a great job of making them feel special with little details through out the week. Thanks for all your hard work, Israel, as we are very aware you had about 17 other jobs on board including other brides to tend to as well!!

We popped back down as the sun was setting to catch that golden light!

Love that soft light on your faces!

We pre planned to do some more portraits at our leisure in the Bahamas, on the last day! This little bump out deck was off the solarium and only opened while at ports so we started there first. Jill was like, “We just have to do the Titanic shot!” ✔️

The wind on the ship was always no joke! Just have to embrace and have fun!

As you can see, there were two ships at the port that day. And why wouldnt the other ship completely obstruct the view of ours, which is the whole reason we chose to do pics at this location. We had to settle and get the front of the boat because from the beach, you could only see the other ship. WOMP. It’s all good though.

LOVE!

It was absolutely a perfect day!

Had to get those palms and sand to get the full Caribbean vibe! Perfect backlit location!!

We had nearly 10k people on our ship and the other had 7k or so. Which means, we rolled up onto an island where thousannnnds were seeking a place to chill. Adam played traffic control for a hot second to get some shots!

It was real hot and sunny and poor Danny was about over.it. in that 3 piece suit, so we didn’t make it all the way to the ocean. Honestly, as pretty as the water was, it was polluted with hundreds of people and zero chance we could have gotten much without fighting the masses. After a bit, they declared us done so they walked back to the gangway and Jill stopped to jam out with the ladies! It was so fun! Adam took our equipment back up with them and I got right to finding our beach chairs. 🥰 Couldn’t have gone more smooth.🙌🏼

We forgot to take a shot of us all dressed up together on the actual wedding day so we snapped a quick shot on the beach. Don’t mind our dressed down, ready to suntan look. 🫣

I feel like I made 28 new friends! Sharing meals daily was a fun and easy way to get to know all of you! We really enjoyed the company throughout the week. I’m also dying that all of you guys got to see the extrovert come out in my quiet husband on that game show. MEMORIES! Our kids loved those videos of him on stage acting ridiculous. 🤣It was such a wonderful and relaxing week. We were thankful for good weather all week except the day of our turtle snorkel excursion! That was a bummer, but all good. One small hiccup was no big deal! All the hardwork of 18mths planning paid off! Thank you for bringing us along on your big adventure. A trip we will always remember! Special thanks to Brooke for also helping plan all the cruise related travel for all of us too!! Heart, Melanie & Adam

PS. Thanks again to Aunt Dale for holding down the circus here in Cincy. It’s an exhausting job and we are glad she was happy to do it for us!
