Whenever we go on vaca, we have to take the opportunity to take pics. It just the rules. Plus shooting in the warm will get us out of shooting in
25º like we normally do! Which condition do kids complain in more? Shivering or sweating? I’ll never know. If you read the Cowell’s post, then
you heard it rained the whole way there. We actually moved the day we were shooting because this night called for the least amount of rain
(it rained daily). And then wouldn’t you know as we entered Sea Pines, it starts pouring. UGH. I took pics of Reese until she was too pissed
about not playing in the water, then shifted to my kids for a minute. But our kids were annoyed with the sun in their eyes and the
outrageous amount of gnats attacking their faces. It was a pain to get the little we did.🙄
That sun poking in and out of the clouds. It gets ya. 🤣 If they would just stop fighting the gnats while the sun was behind the cloud instead
of waiting to look up when the dang sun was back, it would have been so quick and easy. Poor kids made me crazy, but I get it. They tried.
Thankful for our Rachey who has snapped so many family pics for us over the yrs. Everyone asks if we have two sets of twins. Sure looks like it now!
I realized when culling that we set up this same shot 4 yrs ago! Our beebs are so big!😭
They really do rotate in every way. They both just can’t cooperate at once. 😶Ezra is yelling at Ari, “JUST TURN YOUR HEAD AND LOOK AT MOM!!”
“ITS TOO BRIGHT!!!” Ya, I know! you wasted the whole time the sun was soft complainig about the gnats!
And switch. EZRA JUST LOOK UP REAL FAST! THE SUN ISNT BRIGHT! IGNORE THE BUGS!
FINALLY! 😍 Except they’re both holding their crotches. I mean, I was taking whatever I could get at that point!!
The dragons COULD NOT stand still without smacking their legs, stomping feet or swatting the bugs off their faces! UGH. For some reason
once they were off the ground, it was much better. So our bigs graciously offered to hold them as much as possible. Mainly, to stop the
whining and BE DONE!
While Rachel was dealing with Reese and Adam was trying to stop the twins from freaking out, I just kept turning to Nori in the downtime.
Who even is this 10.5yo beauty??
We wanted to get a shot of all of us. In fact, Adam carried around the tripod for us for the whole hour for that purpose. That never happened.
🙄 Kids. Candid was all we could get of just the 5 kids! So sweet.
This does make my ovaries ache for that 5th baby. But I can’t guarantee a sister for NoJo, soooo Reese cup will have to fill that void for her. 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve officially spent more of my life with this guy, than not. Thats such a strange thing to think about! I don’t know where the time has gone!
You can see, as I’m shooting the Cowells (they caught my back on the left), one of the dragons was lifting up my other camera on my harness
and shooting those behind me! I was like, I can’t take the time to even yell at whoever it is because Reese was cooperating and I don’t want to miss it!
You’ll also notice, Adam just goes along with it.🤣
Nico even eventually asked to full on wear my harness while Rach took mine and Adam’s portrait with the other camera. 🤣 I was like,
whatever. You guys are exhausting me, and I just want to go home and eat dinner. Enjoy this 6k toy for a minute.🤦🏼♀️
Nico’s shot of us. It was so lovely being out and about in a beautiful place and hardly anyone being around. Since we really only went to the
beach and pool, we were nervous about going to a public place like this for pictures. Well, I guess the rain was helpful in that matter!!
When we got back home to eat dinner, Reese immediately found the puddles to play in right outside our cars. 🤣
The other side of our party wall at the condo had a cute little family. Their girls were between our bigs ages, so whenever we’d see them outside,
they had kids to goof off with! Of course we brought sparklers, but since it rained most evenings, we didn’t have many opportunities to go out back and play.
Oh ya, they only live a few hours from us in Ohio too! So obviously, OHIO. 😍
I need to get together and transfer all the cellphone shots we took over the week so I can share those. It was such a relaxing week that we really did
forget the world, well lets be honest, mostly just the US, is crumbling around us! 🥴 Siiiiighhhh. More soon. Heart, Melanie.
