Sophia Grace.

Time has officially moved into warp speed for me. This stinkin babe was just in her mom’s belly like yesterday. Her baby shower was the first shower I ever remember attending (18yrs ago)! 😳 Now here we are. She’s graduating high school.

If I wasn’t yelling about how gorgeous she was, I was screaming UGHHHHH YOU LOOK SO OLLLLD! So freaking gorgeous!

She was the most dramatic toddler. The stories she told about nothing. Most the time, she was so busy focusing on flailing her hands in the air that she was straight yelling gibberish! I hope I never forget those times where she’d fight back with me or my parents shouting, “blalahdhonaoidhyooih!” to which we’d reply “lkasjdoiuaocieoijlklloololderre!” Right back!

That completely natural state of beauty!

I don’t know who you think you are looking like a 26yo. It’s just plain ridiculous!! Nobody gave you permission to be so striking! 😭😭

She does cheer and tumbling. Shockingly she never threw her leg up in the air.😆 She’s a flyer which it’s not easy to tell here but she’s barely 5′ and weighs like 12lbs. I feel like I could toss her up without a second person to help me.😬

When you’re super annoyed with your hair and having to constantly hold it out of your face. It’s all, “cool, cool.”

We started this session an hr later than I planned and at a completely different location. The downtown crowds of people on top of each other was too much for me. I didn’t expect to feel so overwhelmed, but I guess after 18mths of not being in the middle people, it got me like, “NOPE.” But it ended up being sunny instead of forcasted overcast, so I had light way longer with a beautiful dropping sun. I was certainly not mad about the yummy light!

Hair envy like woah.

How can you not love freckles?! Soph, don’t kill me for this close up! I love it!! Your freckles remind me that you are still our lil baby!

It’s no secret my kids have idolized Soph since birth. There was no question that Nori was tagging along to watch. My parents treated Sophia as their grandchild and babysat her constantly the first decade of her life. My folks would also have our kids on weekends while we shot weddings so they got to see her WAY more than us and it totally wasn’t fair! Now these two text, which is adorable that they’ve been able to keep up their relationship since those brats moved an hour away!🙄🙄

Little Miss spent so much time with me pre kids. She was our flower girl in our wedding!

My seamstress made her dress from scratch to match mine. 😍 Her pretty mama in red over there!

These two have always had a special bond. While we only see her and Izzy a couple times a year now, Adam always is sure to get a selfie.  Everyone has always joked how much Sophia looks like Adam’s kid and how she looks like she should be our oldest! 😍

I’m so proud of the kind and beautiful woman you’ve become! It breaks our heart we barely see you but treasure the times we do. Looking through old albums to find some shots of us took me down a spiral of “awwwwwwwww!!” I’m as curious as you are to see what you end up doing! I know you’ll succeed no matter the path you choose! We all love you so much!
