These two share a unique story I shared here years ago, but since it’s been so long, Trish told me to revisit! Trisha was pregnant with Paige when she was really young, while simultaneously her Aunt Lisa was deep in heartache of struggling to start her own family after a decade. It was a perfect alignment of the stars for Trisha to select her aunt to raise her baby girl but also still be able to love on her! As Paige grew, she knew Trisha as both her birth mom and her cousin! The rest is a magical history of both Trish and Lisa (and Richie) selflessly sharing their daughter in this delicate balance. Trisha most recently played a special role in Paige’s wedding as her MOH!
Sad it didn’t work out to shoot the wedding, but glad I got to still spend this time with you all! Thrilled those boys didn’t give me hell and we had a great evening! XOXO. Heart, Melanie.
