The Delaney-Dicks.

Not without getting lost navigating a new city, we did make it to the honeycomb at the perfect time!!! The way the golden light hit it was perfection. Within 10minutes, it looked completely different, not even gold at all. So it was a bit kismet for us to take 15 extra min to locate you, going back exactly where we started. Bahaha.

These two. Geesh. Absolutely gorgeous.

Couldn’t let him move after I saw this light😍

Fields and fields of wild flowers in Lincoln Park. Sign.me.up.

😍

I said, “Elliot! You’re almost taller than Mom!” A very “excuse me, what?” response leading to him saying, “I AM taller than Mom.” 🤣 (When I go like this and stand on my tippie toes. 😬)

Eliott forever trying not to show his teeth smiling!!!

They’re laughing because I told them to walk towards me and within 3 seconds, “Nope, this is terrible. Try again.” 🤣

While it was a disaster trying to get them to smile for realsies, their ease in just relaxing for me was off the charts. I’m totally a fan of soft expression when you can give it to me this gracefully. 🥰

Maeve! A girl who is wise beyond her years.

I wanna be you guys when I grow up. I just can’t get over how photogenic you are!! How you don’t conform. You’re just unapologetically yourselves. Young kids usually give such crazy vibes but these two have the serenity of a middle aged person who are just so content in life. How did you do that? My children are wild banshees who have the chill of a kid on Christmas morning. So none.

Why are you so perfeccccct???

“Oops, I think we squished you in a little too tight, you may not be able to get out.”😆

The very last frame. JUST COME ON AND GIVE ME THE SMILESSSS for ONE shot and you’re released! Boom. Teeth. 🤣

The whole weekend in Chicago was absolutely wonderful, but shooting you guys was refreshing. I get cool seniors, but never this kind of cool, younger kids. Loved chatting, wish it could have been longer! I’ll see ya guys around at some point. Y’all are marvelous. Love you long time. Heart, Mel
