Even though I just shot Will’s senior pics a couple years ago, he walked out of the house looking like a grown A** man! The facial hair caught me off guard and then he turned AND OMG IS THAT A MULLET?! Yes, dear Lawd, that’s.a.mullet. And clearly, he’s dang proud of it, tossing it side to side! 🤣

I finished the session with solos of Sam cause SENIOOOOOR.
You guys. As I was taking the shot on the right in this century old, rickety falling down barn, I started backing up while shooting, even glanced back to make sure there was floor behind me and not a hole… well there was no hole. BUT THERE WAS A 2″ NAIL sticking straight up on a fallen board. Yep. You know it. Stepped right on it. Through my shoe, well into my foot enough to have to really yank my foot up to get it off. Sam looked at my very wide eyes in horror like, whats happening to you?? I tried to ignore it and keep shooting but the pain and super slippery/wetness from blood made me stop and look. Thankfully, Chrissy is nurse who had a full on first aide kit to clean me up.👏🏼 The next day I went right in to get a tetanus shot but dang, I’m a week and a half out and still can’t walk barefoot! Punctures to the ball of foot are no joke.

Here’s the thing about shooting into the sun. It’s difficult and sliiiiight movement or focus can completely change your shot if you want to. This is exactly what I wanted😍
But change my exposure and lean an inch to the side and you’ll have a completely different feel, which that soft profile outline is 👌🏻!
